Fun Fall Activities!

Alexa Ramos, Editor

The leaves are falling, and the tree branches are swaying, which means autumn time is officially here!

Fall is the best time of year. The breezy, cold weather contrasts the hot weather we always experience, so it’s always fun to do fall-related activities to take advantage of the season.

The best pastime ever is watching movies. Even better, Halloween or scary movies. During October, there are many Halloween-themed movies released in theaters. Streaming them at home is just as fun, though.

There’s a new movie in theaters called Halloween Kills, which features Michael Meyers and Jamie Lee Curtis. It has been going on for nearly 40 years! I went to the theaters to watch the Halloween movie, and I had such a great time. It was nice being at the movie theaters again.

If you can’t go to the movies, you have even more options on which scary films to watch at home. At-home streaming services have a great variety of scary movies. For example, HBOMAX features classics like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and The Shining.

If staying inside isn’t your thing anymore because everything has opened again, then the pumpkin patch is the place you need to be!

Pumpkin patches have so many fun activities for you and your friends and family. When you think of a pumpkin patch, you’re probably thinking of just looking at pumpkins, but that’s not always the case. There are so many more activities within the pumpkin patch.

If the last two things I mentioned don’t float your boat, that’s fine! There’s one more thing on my list that can put someone in the fall mood, and it’s simply staying at home. Hanging out with friends or family and just finding your own thing to do is also the best thing ever.

You can bake fall treats because anything pumpkin flavored is the best: pumpkin pie, bread, and the best of all: a pumpkin spice latte. But in all seriousness, just staying home, staying away from the cold (kind of), is the best way to commemorate the fall season.

Well, there are the top 3 things you should do during the fall season. And if it doesn’t work out this season for whatever reason, like you’re an autumn hater, then do it all for the winter season.
